Golden hour is a sliver of magical lighting just after sunrise or before sunset. When the Sun is above the horizon, the sunlight’s intensity is reduced because of increased distance and more reflected, softer light rays are landing on our couple. Golden hour is different everywhere we’ve photographed. Seattle’s golden hour is crisp and intense, whereas California golden hour feels longer and slow-fading. Here are some of our golden couples in this magic light.
