To Veil or Not To Veil

To veil or not to veil… that is the question. With the pandemic having an effect on wedding celebrations worldwide, many bridal designers have pivoted to offer more simple, civil chic styles. From tea length dresses to minimalistic designs, the wedding dresses you may see more of these days are anything but traditional. So you may be wondering if a veil is too much for the dress.

Historians share that veils date back to the Roman times when a bride would walk down the aisle with a veil covering her face to shield herself from any evil spirits. Fast forward to modern times and brides are wearing veils to signify innocence and purity… or simply as a fashion accessory! Whether you choose to wear a veil or not is completely optional. What do you envision for your wedding day? Cathedral length veil (as long as it gets), a simple shoulder length or no veil? Leave a comment to let us know.
