Invitation Styling
- Get loose flowers from the florist from ceremony/reception setup. Ask first. One handful is usually sufficient.
- Center the main invite (the one with Bride and Groom's name). Raise that a bit with something under neath. Camera battery, lens caps will work well.
- Set up all other items slightly tilted around the invite. Not all text has to show, it's about showing the overall design. Raise certain elements to create some dimension.
- ONLY the main invite to be straight and centered. All other items intentionally tilted. Unless you spend 2 hours on this, if you try to create a straight flatlay, one item will always be not-perfect.
- Set Bride's jewelry, vow books, and other bridal items as they are available.
- IMPORTANT : Keep your eyes on the jewelry at ALL TIMES. Do not leave them unattended. If you need to leave, grab another from our team, or a Bridesmaid to help you keep eyes on them. If no one is around, then carefully take the jewelry with you.
- Fill the setting with flowers. Be intentional about them. Flowers will go out of the frame.
- Take a phone picture, then check with the lead photographer on the setup.
- After you take some photos of it, DO NOT BREAK IT DOWN. Get the lead photographer to also come take photos and adjust if necessary.
- After the lead photographer is done, break everything down carefully. Start with Jewelry and take them personally back to the Bride, Bride's mother, or the lead photographer.
- Carefully roll the flatlay fabric back into the bag. Throw away flowers and clean up the area.
